About Mindful Me: Child & EMDR Therapy

Parenting changes the whole landscape of your life. It stretches you, humbles you, and asks you to show up in ways you didn’t know you could. It’s full of love—but it’s also full of big emotions, challenging behaviors, and moments where you wonder, “Am I doing any of this right?” I know that feeling both as a mom and as a therapist who works closely with kids and families every day.

My own parenting journey opened my eyes to just how much support children—and their caregivers—truly need. Kids don’t come with a roadmap, and the emotional world they live in today is more complex than ever. That’s why I do this work. I want parents to feel empowered, and I want kids to feel understood. Everyone deserves a space where their feelings make sense.

Before opening my virtual practice, I spent years working with children and teens navigating anxiety, big emotions, behavioral challenges, trauma, and major life transitions. Those experiences taught me how to stay grounded when a child is overwhelmed, how to connect even when words are hard to find, and how to help families shift from frustration to connection. Today, I pair that clinical foundation with specialized training in EMDR, child development, emotional regulation, and telehealth tools like Hopscotch Play, Teleo, and Minecraft Education—so therapy feels engaging, safe, and genuinely helpful.

My approach is warm, playful, and honest. I believe kids learn through connection, not perfection—and parents thrive when they feel supported, not judged. Whether we’re working on emotional regulation, anxiety, trauma healing, or navigating daily behavior struggles, my goal is to help your child feel capable and to help your family feel more connected.

We’ll celebrate the small wins, problem-solve the tough moments, and create tools that actually work in real life—your real life. And when things feel heavy, I’m here with steady guidance and a grounded calm you can rely on.

You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help your child feel more confident, more regulated, and more understood—and to help you feel a little more at ease in the process.

Best,
